Thanks, I did pick up somewhere that putting a bulb in circuit solved the problem, but not which circuit! I think it was a Dutch source

I know they're obsolete, but still useful kit and there will be a lot of experience out there. Mine has to have the mirror opened manually, will then fire up, fan runs and lamp lights OK, computer acquired and image projected, then after about 10 seconds the lamp dies. No signs/warnings of overheating. Filter cleaned and passages vacuumed out etc. Lamp hours well within stated life Any advice anyone, is there a cut out connected to the mirror which can be disabled
