  2. Hi Ijust get the licence server installed on my RM server. It is now time to create the package on the RM desktop but this is where i get a failure just before the end of the second scan. at this point Rm App wizard point me to a log file which is empty (didn't help at all ) ) I don't know if anyone of you had this kind of issue ? if so did you get it solved ? and how if possible. Thanks Humberty
  3. No one ? I have played yesterday and manage to print form my standalone vista computer to a printer attach to this Ubuntu server. The main question still remain : will it work in a cc3 envirenment ?
  4. I have a summer project to accomplish like you can read in the title. In the target off take off the load of printing jobs from our CC3 servers It came the idea of a print server. Obviously a cheap (free) version of that kind of hardware is preferable. Ubuntu server would be great. I'm a newby in Linux environment so I have few questions : -Is anyone here already did something similar ? -Is it gone a be worth it in the aspect of offloading the server ? -Do you think that I need to add the new server as a member server ? -Is there any alternative that is working well ? - If you have any other suggestions it is welcome . Thank
  5. Hi there We have the same problem on our cc3 network where none of the teacher or student or even systemadmin can get their stick recognized. It sudently happen last friday morning, probably following some kind of RM profile cleaning package. To resolve the issue we don't have any other choice than runnibg all across the school to delete the driver and restart. We also allocate a USB FIX package but it didn't seems to solve the issue. Is someone here already had this issue and if so do you have a solution more efficient ? Thanks
