Dont know wether or not this has been asked before - Does anyone out there know how to rename a RM CC3 workstation without rebuilding it. Also has anyone found a way of restarting a screen saver locked workstation using the RM management console. RM say you have take the screen saver lock off for this to enabled to done, but staff need to have this security feature Finally how to make the default screen size on a new build to 1024 x 768 without having to go to every individual workstation. Sorry for this - three questions in one

Hi At the moment staff go to the tools settings in connections and untick 'use proxy sever' when they are at home, this for the most of them works fine, but this is problem unless rmsyncronise is installed on the laptop the browser will not let them access any https: web sites. This is needed to access easylink and other important https: web sites. See the dilema now..... David Williams Sorry made a mistake - RM syncronise has to be installed for access to https: away from the school site. This is what RM say anyway. I will try your suggestions and let you know. Hi We had this and RM say the only way you can connect to HTTPS away from school is to have RMSyncronise installed on the laptop. I have tried this and it does work. Downside is using RMSync which causes its own problems. Dave

Hi Nick Followed your instrauctions and guess what it works. Thanks for all your help I need to now pass this on to the teachers so they can modify there setting. Still I think the inherent problem is Vista and not IE7 Dave

Thats the way I have got around it, but still doesn't help the teachers unless they know how to use VPc..

Hi We have the same problem with 'Vista and IE7'. From my experience, for what its worth, it appears that if you use xp with an upgraded IE6 to IE7 there is no problem and all works fine. The vista version of IE7 does not work, there must be some difference somewhere. It doesn't matter whether or not you have office 2003 or 2007 it's still the same result. I have searched the internet over and over and tried all the fixes mentioned and still a blank page when you documents, even RM are stumped. :mad:

All they seem to be interested int at the moment is pushing CC4. If anyone has a resolve, fantatsic please let me know
