Harrow School was founded in 1572. The School comprises over 800 boys aged 13 to 18, all of whom are boarders. The IT network covers the whole of the school site (over a 2 mile radius) Every boy has a computer in his room. In addition every teacher and some of the support staff have networked computers in their School accommodation.The majority of support staff has a networked computer in their office or area of work. There are over 1,500 PCs spread over 40 buildings.The School is seeking an experienced Client Services Team Leader with relevant qualifications to provide leadership for the development and supportof an efficient Client Services Team. Duties will also include the management of the IT Service Desk. Applicants should possess an MCSE or equivalent qualification in IT or Information Systems, in addition to previous experience in a Team Leader role,ideally in the education sector.An excellent knowledge of end user hardware, Microsoft Active Directory, Office,Windows 7 and Windows 10 are essential, coupled with strong interpersonal skills for dealing with staff and pupils.
