A vacancy has arisen for a Senior ICT Technician to provide efficient and friendly ICT client support services to the School community. The postholder will provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for a portfolio of advanced topics. They will maintain and administer the Active Directory, Exchange and O365 services, the School’s Virtual Learning Environment and the software library, as well as implementing a portfolio of department projects. This role will suit someone with experience in a similar role, who prides themselves on their strong helpdesk experience and excellent customer relationship building skills. They will enjoy using their problem-solving skills to see issues through to completion and champion the constant improvement of the department’s expertise and effectiveness. We are looking for an experienced customer-facing ICT professional to join our existing ICT team of nine. The ICT department is responsible for the development and maintenance of Harrow School’s computer network, audio-visual and telephone facilities. There is a computer fleet of around 1500 PCs and significant quantities of peripheral ICT equipment spread over 60 buildings. Candidates should have experience in ICT project management, staff ICT training, device troubleshooting and creative problem solving. An independent boarding school for 13 – 18 year old boys ICT TECHNICIAN (Full Time all year round) To start March 2017 We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician to join our existing IT team of seven. The IT Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of Harrow School’s computing network, audio visual and telephone facilities. There is a computer fleet of around 1500 PCs, plus significant quantities of related ICT equipment spread out over 60 buildings.Candidates should have experience in supporting PCs and other peripherals in a large networked environment, along with a desire to learn new technologies and skills.
