Are you authenticated in WGM as diradmin before attempting to make changes?

Sagima - that's the best way to do it as then providing the windows machines are logging in correctly you know it won't be an issue with the mac.

Are you 100% sure there isn't a restriction in place under ANY of the possible grouping tabs (user, computer group, user group, etc...) for system preferences or anything else relevant to block the camera?

Hiya, Have you tried logging the machine in as ladmin and checking under System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options > you should have a green light saying 'Multiple' if you're bound to OD & AD, click 'Edit...' You should see two green lights next to the two directories.. Rebind your AD domain and see if that makes a difference. It can sometimes fudge in my experience.

You want to make sure the base image isn't bound to OD/AD before being re-deployed. Otherwise it is quite rightly going to have an issue when it realised a machine already contains the name and hissy fits when looking for the OD. Deploy Studio is great. You can add any OD/AD binding tasks to the workflow. And at the same time, if you need too, create a bind only workflow, for it you need to re-name or re-join a machine further down the line.

ARD has a separate password for each user, even if it's the same copy of the app running from the same mac. Make sure the serial number and installation is done under the ladmin account. Also check in ARD (under an admin) that the preference for non-administrators has the other users of the Software present. It should prompt for an ARD password when logged in as a user, rather than a serial/pass. You will need to attach the plist preference files for Office 2011 in the relevant group within workgroup manager's 'details' tab. If 2011 is replacing 2008, then you can simply replace the 2008 plist file with the 2011 ones. If you're keeping 2008 on any machines at all, then you will need to create a new group solely for the new machines having 2011 on them. Just seen the top bit is mentioned almost exactly already, but I'll leave it there anyway now I've typed it all

You should also be able to push the app and then .plist file containing the key and any other tweaks to a machine. AFAIK.

Do it in Meraki? I found this spot on for its purpose.
