  1. I found i didn't really need a Cron as i wasn't using an email to ticket service, could always produce a test ticket to see if it is all running ok!
  2. Hi Nathan, Sure, my settings are as follows, all i had to make sure was that the e-mail information was correct and the account existed withing 365.
  3. https://www.codecademy.com/ is a great place to start and they have a huge range of courses from start to finish. Also maybe consider Lynda.com? Some educational establishments get this for free but i dont know if that counts in UK - i still have access through my university and im milking it for all its worth!
  4. +1 for password control, works nicely
  5. Managed to sort it using TLS and port 587? had to change it to smtp.office365.com also. Now the e-mail is all up and running and they might want to change it! hurrah for education! the hoster is pickaweb, but it seems the problem was our end with the setup of the SMTP anyway!
  6. Well i opened the port, still nothing, even sent to an external gmail address, seems like the email never left our mail server! Could be something on the Providers end? stopping mail services? but i doubt it, allthough just been told by network manager all our mail is dependant on them..
  7. Ok will give it a go, thanks for the tip!
