Where I work we've purchased some new iPads and as such have a surplus of previous model devices which we're looking at re-homing. We’ve got the following (give or take a few): A1489 iPad Mini Asset tagged 2014: 13 devices Asset tagged 2015: 122 devices Asset tagged 2016: 4 devices, one with keyboard 9 other devices, 2 with keyboards A1474 iPad Air Asset tagged 2014: 1 device Asset tagged 2015: 6 devices, all with keyboards 5 other devices, all with keyboards I’d prefer for us to ship these out all in one go for obvious reasons, so if someone can take the lot then fab, if not then we can split. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in buying - I think the devices would be perfect for a smaller school or a site looking to have a few cheap trolleys of devices! We’d be looking to get the highest price we can for them, so we’d be looking for at least £60 a unit. They all come with STM cases in varying condition, bar the ones which I’ve listed as coming with keyboards. If you wanted to take the lot, I'm sure we could do a 'bulk buy' discount! Regards Mark

Unfortunately we only have one make and model of Chromebook and projector across the site. Weirdly it seems to be only on some of the projectors though! I say some, I mean most really!

Hi all - bit of an odd one with regards to the Chromebooks we have on site, was wondering if you guys had any ideas... So, staff members now all have Chromebooks to stop them using student laptops (no desktop PCs on site). However, in most rooms there are one or more of the following issues: - As soon as plugging in the HDMI cable, the projector display flickers on and off...almost as though it's not receiving a strong enough signal from the Chromebook - The display works fine, but doesn't pick up any audio from the Chromebook. Occasionally there will be audio for a fraction of a second before it cuts out. - The display works fine until you run a presentation in Google Slides, at which point the projector input flickers as per (1) above. I've tried purchasing and using a (powered) HDMI signal amplifier which doesn't seem to help. For number (3), I have noticed that by setting the Chromebook to extended monitor and changing the resolution to 800 x 600 the presentation then works. Anything higher res, it goes back to the same problem. I would suggest to staff running extended desktop is the fix, but you need to change the resolution each and every time the HDMI cable is plugged in! Also - can't change the resolution on mirrored mode as it's greyed out. Something inbuilt to ChromeOS that you can't change, it seems. FYI mirrored resolution is 1366x768. Any help greatly appreciated as I have no idea what to do next (other than to buy HDMI to VGA adapters and ask all staff to use the VGA input, which has problems in itself as we'd then need separate audio cables!)
