Its for convenience to users so we can print large jobs when the school is closed, this is a huge benefit to us thats why i want the queue to release at a certain time in the evening.

Its not fit for purpose and not serving the schools need, not performing according to theier SLA etc.etc.. think anyone would have an easy out without having to wait 3 months... I too had that "Its your Fault" email, i pointed out to them that i don't get these emails from other websites all the time about white listing etc... they even told me to stop the antivirus software scanning the website and to whitelist them in that!! they need to build thier software properly... someone clearly hasn't a clue what they are doing!

i have a slightly differnent problem, occasionally when a user releases a print job the mfd will just keep printing said document until it runs out of paper!!!! not good when it holds 5000!

Capita have there own library system.. i suspect they bought MLS out for some feature they wanted for their own... i can see where this is going and its not pretty..

lol i saw that this morning.. thinking we pay them £1400 a year in support and because its so dire they are now getting us to support each other while they profit from customers lovely... we done it better have moved to heritage cirqa!

Its because they want you to pay the hosting charge, its guaranteed income! if they allow you to host you can decide to end support and still use the software!

It was between Heritage Circa and Oliver and we went with Heritage as we found they don't rush upgrades and it just works, you get all future upgrades to new versions included in your maintenance charge so no other outlay when future releases come out. Librarian just couldn't do her job, it was too slow , crashed often and when calling support all we ever told is to clear cache and internet history..ive never had to clear internet cache so much for one website!.. in fact cant remember when ive had to do it to any other websites.. Support always seemed to say it was our system at fault and not there hosted solution. Afraid since they bought by capita its been one slow down hill.. support don't answer for ages, shes been on hold for 30min - 1hr to support at times. I think one needs ask how long they have left as a company to be honest as Capita bought them out, but Capita have their own library system.

They are not holding back on it they wont release it they want all schools to go hosted!... FYI we went hosted and it was terrible and very slow.. afraid we have today jumped ship and gone with another supplier. My advice to you would be to stay on-prems as long as you can until they sort their hosted out! Search these forums many others are unhappy.

to help others if you want try my method, i have installed on my profile and copied the teams folder from C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams to my NETLOGON folder ( or a share on a server for apps ) Created a bat file with the following. Created a vbs with the following to hide the console window. Then assign is as a logon script to the users i want it installed on. Not an elegant design but it will update and work as it should and the logon script will keep files in sync so you can manually update the netlogon with the latest version.

how did you add additional owners to the groups, salamander cant do this at the moment and i need add SLT and Administrators to the classes?

Yes i did today,, though to be perfectly honest we are not comfortable pursuing it.. given we have paid enough already im not sure its all above board and not prepared to pay anymore for support.

Just received notification that Safe Place Solutions Ltd T/A Star Lesson have commenced liquidation proceedings. Does anyone else use the Lesson Gems? doesnt look like we will be able use it much now? anyone else heard whats going on with this.. bought this for a considerable sum last year!

Any one else having trouble getting remote access to their schools, i cannot access email or anything.. thought it was our school but i cannot access any lgfl websites, can anyone confirm thiers is the same ?
