  1. It is newsletter, events , Year group notification and etc. And yes term reports and etc as well. ( this is the legal involvement) As you mentioned, Early I've tried to use inbuilt one but it does not work for me. What I've done is just use our ISP's SMTP and it's work perfectly. ( I mean sending mail without any delay but can't track back mail is delivered or not ) I may try with free Linux server and let's see how it goes.. Thanks again for the reply. Rish
  2. Hi Steve, Thanks for advise... however, it is not going to work for me because managing that group will be very hard. Ex: Separated Families (one person does not not like other person to receive some notification and etc) Legal orders, and many other issue.( Since you are in education sector I believe you know how it's look like) We have done everything in our SMS system. At the moment we just limit 25 mails for min ( LMS system running with linux) It is working but its take almost 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the process. 30 per min issue is ex : [email protected] that mail address is tiring to send 2500 to 3000 mail every Thursday. I had tried with e-mail relay but it does not resolve the issue too.. Do you know any free SMTP server (Windows will be preferable. Don't mind about Linux too as long as they have good documentation) I can install locally to just only send the mail using that SMTP server address with existing domain name. Rish
  3. Hi All, I’d like to get some information about e mail digest with office 365. Here is the scenario. We have Learning Management System send the newsletter every Thursday to student, staff and parent. (Almost 2500 clients) also we have SMS (School Management system) we do send some bulk notification to parent and students about events and some other year group notification. We are using office 365. (No premises exchange server). Having an issue at the moment due to O365 limitation (30 message per 1 min) had the chat with Microsoft but according to them that is there standard at the moment. I was thinking to use our ISP’s SMTP server. Issue is that we do not know whether mail is been delivered or not. With office 365 we can check mail is been delivered or not to recipient. (To avoid “I did not receive the mail” call.) I just wonder any of had the same issue and anyone came up with solution what we can do about this. What I want to do is Just to send the mails using customize SMTP server to avoid the limitation. Reporting option would be nice. Would be good for MDF as well. (again to avoid the sending capacity limit) According to Microsoft we can request the features but no one don’t know how long it takes to get onboard. Just thinking to install local SMTP server, really like to have good advice what system and option will be ideal for this scenario. Free option will be ideal. Any of your help support and thoughts will be highly appreciate. Kind Regards Rish
