  1. When I ran into this issue, it was on a server and what's happening is they wrote the server specs into an image file that is supposed to display on the desktop of the server so you can see the host name, ip, etc. That information is all in the file name bginfo.bmp, which I have access to. That information is not displaying on the desktop as intended. My guess is they used the wrong code, or set it up improperly. It's not my problem to worry about, so I just click OK to the error message, and go about my business. The message is merely a nuisance; it's not prohibiting any activity.
