I have a program data folder under c:\Program Data. And I created the file there and tried and it still didn't work. Do you mean to put it in the same directory as the msi? Or in C:\program data. My java MSI is in C:\Users\kevint\AppData\LocalLow\Oracle\Java\jre1.8.0_65.msi. I have tried putting it there, and in several other locations to no avail. I am running Windows 10. It also DOES work on Windows 7. Just tried it.

I am trying to create a software push for Landesk 9.6 and it keeps failing when using the offline exe. Can I use this MSI to install the package? Every time I try to install JUST using the MSI I get an error saying "There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." Is there something I need to do to get the MSI to install Java when Java isn't already present on the machine?
