I cant see anyone who would take on network manager responsibilities go for a salary thats more in line with a technician!! The Pay and Grading for the 'IT Manager' family iin Bolton is scale 7 (used to be SO1)... Anyways I only spoke to the technician from Sharples on Thursday (who wants to step into the job) and he is already on that salary... maybe a bit more.... Just my pennys worth
