We use SIMS to log and document detentions at present, but are trying to streamline the notification of detention to parents. Without getting into a sales call with Capita (!) can anyone advise if they use SIMS In touch for this? If so how streamlined is the process? Ideally it would 'ping' an alert to parents as soon as the detention is put on the system, but from preliminary investigations this does not happen. How do you notify parents of absences / detentions? Thanks in advance!
