About AnneICT

  1. Hi Tom, thanks for the update, I have tried both ways - via the RMMC import method - the WeDo package will work fine but it won't do the activity pack at all. I have tried using package builder and the package appears to be created fine but errors when it is assigned to a PC. If you have step by step instructions that you followed I could try again. Did you put an .ini file in the software folder to run it silently - as suggested in other posts on here. I have followed the instructions in the CC4 packaging guide about running a test for silent install using the msiexec?i .....software path / qn+ and it installs fine so thought it would work creating the package. any help gratefully received, thanks Anne
  2. Hi Sue, did you get this sorted and if so could you let me know how please, I am trying install on an RM CC4 system. I have the same issue here which is driving me nuts and I am not sure how the response below fits in (am only technical for so far!) thanks Anne
  3. Hi there I know there was post was a long time ago but I was just wondering if someone has some easy to follow instructions for creating the WeDo package for the RM system - I can do basic package creation on the RM setup but am not highly technical. I did find a post about creating .ini files - can I clarify about the 2 ini files for silent install and uninstall silent - where do these ini files get put- on the front of the pacakage folder with the setup file or within each of the WeDo and the WeDo activities folder? I have managed to create a package for the WeDo software by importing the msi into the RM management console and this appears to work fine but I cannot get it to see the activities folder even if I add it into the same folder on each PC Help really appreciaated. thanks Anne
