[free] x10 Stone Desktop PC's with 19" Monitors [FREE TO A SCHOOL]
GwynDavies replied to GwynDavies's topic in Classified Adverts
PM'd you -
I used to work in schools up until a few years ago before I moved to a Plc so I always know schools are having to scrape by. The Plc I work for have decided to put x10 desktop PC's to one side for donation to a school in need. This is completely free providing it goes to a school as stipulated by my manager. These are desktop PC's that we have used for our DR testing and all of which are in a working condition. They will all be installed with a fresh copy of Windows 10 and can be PxE booted for MDT or other imaging platforms. Spec as follows:- Stone 176 Desktop PC Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz 250GB SSD 8GB RAM (some on 6GB) Windows 10 Pro Wireless N Card Dell 19" Monitor Wired Keyboard & Mouse. These will be ready to go in the next 2 weeks, collection would be preferred from our St Asaph Office (Denbighshire, North Wales) or Preston Brook (Runcorn, Cheshire). If your local to either office we may be able to drop this off, all we would ask is for a quick snap to put up on our company intranet. Message me if you would like any further info, cheers.

I have moved from education to the private sector recently, so I have not forgotten the financial pressures schools are under. The company I now work for have some redundant equipment which we would like to give to a school. We have x12 Samsung Galaxy Tab3 previously used by our business which are now surplus to requirements, my manager has agreed we can give these away for free providing they go to a school in need. The all have 16GB storage and will come with chargers and cables. All in a used but working condition, the majority have been kept in rugged cases. https://www.samsung.com/uk/tablets/galaxy-tab-3-7-0-t210/SM-T2100MKABTU/ They are located in St Asaph, North Wales however we can locate them at our other office in Runcorn, Cheshire.

If you could let me know where your based, i'll see what I can do... -
I have moved from education to the private sector recently, so I have not forgotten the financial pressures schools are under. Where I have moved to have some redundant equipment which we would like to give to a school. - HP Proliant DL360 G5, Dual Quad core Intel Xeon Proccesor, 16GB RAM, 2TB SAS Drive (1.5TB on RAID5), HP P400i Smart Array controller, 1U rack mounting. Further spec available at https://www.hpe.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04284194.pdf This machine was pulled out of use earlier on this year as it was redundant, fully working on decommissioning with no errors on the disks. The server will come with no licencing attached and the disks will be fully wiped. This server should run Server 2012 without any issues. There is also a LTO-5 Ultrium 3000 SAS Tape Drive with the server, again this was fully working on removal. [h=1][/h] Collection from St Asaph, North Wales. However we do have offices in Runcorn and Bangor so it can be taken there for collection if that suits. Local delivery to a school is also available.

Have a look at my ebay page, got lots of HP CP5525 compatible toner for much cheaper than anywhere else! http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/gdav1776/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= Will deliver if local (Wirral / North Wales) but don't mind going further for fuel money

We have an office in Preston Brook (Runcorn) which we are clearing out over the next 2 weeks, because of this we have 2 Server Racks (42U) which we need to get rid of. They are approx 6 years old and in good condition. I was wondering if it was of any use in your schools, they look like this:- http://www.fcnet.pl/assets/gfx/f280c619dd36687b61087f117522d9f4.jpg

Thanks everyone, it looks like its down to a bad GPO. Turned a few off and it hasn't happened since. When I narrow it down I'll put the result up here.

It didn't really give me much of an indication, has anyone seen this happen before?

Problem reports are clear
