Logged in as the administrator - shouldn't be

Thanks Banjo. I have used both the Capita SQL Express installer. Then I downloaded the SQL EXPR_x64_ENU.exe from the MS site and tried that too. Same problem same error. Confused.

I am trying to install SQL 2014 Express on a CC4 server. I keep getting the following: SQL Server Setup has encountered the following errors . hexadecimal value 0x00 is an invalid character. Line 1 Position 189889. Error code 0x84B10001 Sql server failed to install correctly. SQL EXPR_X64-ENU.exe failed (-2057043967) From a previous forum, I redownloaded a new copy of the installer. I have removed RMAUDITPRINTERCREDITS from programs I have tried multiple Microsoft threads to no avail, and when I type in the error, it comes up with zilch. Anyone any ideas
