Thank you for reply Duke5A..!! I got the files from backup... next time I will certainly use robocopy. I was finally able to get it to work. The trick for me was to add Advanced deny to the StudentsGroup OU (delete,traverse folder/execute,write attributes). For now it seem to do what we need. I will save the scrip for future use or reference. Thank you for your help!

We upgraded from W2008 Server to new hardware W2012 Server. We moved all the files including a "dropbox" homework folder where out students could drop files and see the files/folders names but they could not modify/copy/delete. Faculty Could modify all files. On our Windows 2012 I can't seem to accomplish this. Our students are part of OU "CStudents" and Faculty "CSFaculty" OU. I searched google and this forum but the information is for W2003/2008 and it does not seem to translate to W2012. Anybody can help me point me to the right direction?
