    Thanks for the reply. It wasn't quite what they wanted though. The staff want to be able to edit a document created in Google Docs in Word itself. When opening a Google Doc in Word with that plugin, it opens the Google Docs app in the web browser.

    Hi everyone, Just had a request from a teacher to see if there was a way to open and edit Google Doc files in Word directly from Google Drive without having to download and re-upload them each time. I have done some digging online but to no avail Thanks in advance.
