  1. Hi Guys and Girls, I work at a small university and we don't have the biggest budgets in the world, but we have a very good wireless network and coverage in almost all areas is excellent. Capacity is never reached and we don't really put any limitation on how fast, what or how much students can download. So even though we think wireless here is pretty good and we have the logs to prove it, after many conversations with students and staff, their general consensus is that its awful. Most of the time if a student can't connect its because of a problem with their laptop or device rather than a problem with the wireless. Still, most of the time we hear that its not as good as they have at home. Obviously our wireless has more security and we ask them to sign in through a portal to use it, but that is as difficult as its gets. I was wondering if other institutions are the same and how my fellow techies manage expectations?
