  1. ah well thanks for trying
  2. yes, there is no problem with the shares, it’s the profile for user groups will not push to the macs, but the profiles for the mac groups will, problem is the user groups overwrite the mac groups so I need to get them pushing.
  3. It’s a mac mini server running yosemite, managing 17 imacs also running yosemite. 10.10.3 The server is linked to active directory, the storage drives are shares on the windows network, which I can connect to from the macs and manage under the profile manager, but the profile will then not push out to the macs.
  4. Hello everyone i am new to edugeek so be nice :-) I have configured and set up profile manager and all was working, now I have the machines managed and then also the staff and pupils user groups, the machines is everything like restrictions programs etc, and the user groups is just the mapped drives they get when they login. Problem is, since setting it up I have moved the storage to a new location, and have to change the mapped drives for the staff and pupils user group, which I have done, but the profile will not push to the user groups, if I make a change to the machines it pushes straight away but not the user groups, so in short every time a user logs in they get the old drives, even though they are set to get the new drives. It’s a little issue, but a massive problem.
