English/Language Arts teacher looking for ideas....
I would love an alternative to IXL. Though I like IXL, I am wondering if there's something out there that could combine their really extensive grammar/conventions practice with student friendly lessons as well. In other words, they could be refreshed on a topic in addition to practicing it.
Basically, I like IXL's practices, Khan Academy's videos, and NoRedInk's data and diagnostics. The first two just aren't enough on their own, and the latter won't license to a school as small as mine.
Obviously, I could put together my own set of resources with links to various sites, like those above, but I would love a "one-stop shop," partially for the data gathering.
I have briefly experimented with Quill and Grammarflip, both of which are great sites but imperfect for various reasons. Any other sites I haven't come across?
