The role involves providing first and second line IT support, operating the Service Desk, installation and maintenance of servers & services; deployment of applications, operating systems & client devices, maintenance of Ethernet networks and a BYOD system. You will be assisting the IT Operations Manager in a variety of tasks including server provisioning, backup management and maintenance of desktop operating systems.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing first and second line IT support, maintaining and supporting audio-visual technologies and office productivity applications. Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills are required. An enthusiastic approach to learning new skills, excellent communication skills and a team-player ethic are essential to this position, plus the ability to self-start, prioritise and work to deadlines.

Relevant professional qualifications (eg Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, VMware)
Experience of scripting in Powershell & VBS
At least 3 years’ experience of providing first and second line IT support
