Ahh that's fair enough, I think il start moving software to another harddrive and just fresh install windows 10. You said about be able to download the ISO will they give you a link and a serial key?

I have a quick question regarding windows 10. I reserved my copy via the notification in task bar. I was wondering does it just update you to windows 7 so all my files and settings will come along like my steam and games ect? Just wondering as when I went to upgrade to windows 8 I would have to reinstall from scratch so I am hoping this wont be the case?

Would just like to say thank you Steve, and everyone else. I have now extended the partition with Partition Wizard and it is now back to its 500Gb thank you so much. This as driving me mad

That does make sense as I read online about they need to be in order, do you know of any tools which can do this for me? Thanks for all the help

Okay guys I tried it and it still doesn't work, if you look at my new screenshot the option to extend the partition is still greyed out. Am I missing something here?

Thanks for the replies guys, indeed that is what I meant. I want to give that 73Gb back to the main OS but it never gives me the option to extend once I delete the 73GB it just goes to unallocated and won't let me extend it back to OS. Let me try the shrink option and see what happens.

Hello just like to say I am new to the forums and im sorry if this is a dumb question, I have several hard drives installed and one is split into 3 partitions one holds windows the other is just for files and then the system reserved. I can't seem to extend the volume back. I have one partition which is 73GB and I can't get it to join back to the OS partition, would this be because the system reserve is in the middle of both partitions? I have attached a screen shot.
