We are looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist. The role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the complete redevelopment of ICT in a unique setting in South Gloucestershire. Working alongside the IT Manager you will provide support for the rollout of new technologies, supporting existing and provide ongoing support to staff and pupils.
The chosen candidate must have excellent people skills and the ability to communicate with pupils, teachers and support staff along with 3rd party technical providers.
Previous experience in a support role is essential either from the commercial or education sector with a background in Microsoft Windows and/or Apple OSX operating systems. Familiarity with support for Microsoft Office products along with exposure to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Milestone & Meraki Products would be an advantage as well as experience of SmartTechnologies.
There will be a requirement to offer out of school hours support which is essential for administrative staff who often work different hours to the main school and also be required to work during school holidays to facilitate system upgrades and installations to minimise disruption to normal school activities.
Salary £24,000 - £27,000
Remuneration will be commensurate with capability, skills and experience. This is a full time permanent position. This post will require an application for an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring service.
