Hello Folks, Would anyone know how to find a usb device on the network? Im pretty sure I have lost my USB flash drive in school and I wanted to see if I could find out if a student has picked it up and plugged it into the network .... any thoughts? Server 2k3 and xp clients. Thanks

Has anyone got this setup on a W2K3 network with roaming profiles? I can not get it to work and when I contacted the supplier all I got was "oh your using roaming profiles, the software does not support this" call ended. Helppp

Yeah it's basicly the same thing, your's is mrbs 1.2 or something, new version is 1.4 just out that's the one I have.

MRBS: Introduction

Afternoon folk's, I have MRBS Setup for months now and it's a great bit of code, HOWEVER there is one thing it does not do. I have it setup as the AREA - Room Bookings then I have a list off different rooms, What I need to do is move some of the rooms from Room Bookings area to a new area called Sport Facilities. Can I do this without loosing all the data as sports rooms are booked until solid and do not want to enter it all again. Cheers

I need local admin access quite a bit, still setting up a new school so everyday I log in as local admin at some time.

I used v1 and it work perfectly! Even thought "this is too good to be true" and went to several rooms and got "wrong username or password" when trying to log in with the old account password. works a treat!

Guy's not sure if this has been posted before, today my depute rector told me he gave the local admin password to a computing teacher "who knows erm ... shall we say flip all about computers" and with his little knowledge he is a pain in the ass. So i searched the net for hours and came across this freeware tool. When logged on to a machine with the local admin account i installed this tool and re-set the local admin password for every machine in the school that was turned on! Zak to do a Multiboot, create a floopy boot disc, (Just disc one of two) for the selected driver. Once disc one has been created, copy the driver folder eg "b57, intel" etc go through the procedure in the instructions and put a new confic.sys file in the root of your pendrive. Should look something like this.... [menu] menuitem=Intelpro, INTEL PRO R1000 DOS FOR Optiplex 755,DHCP menuitem=Broadcom, Broadcom B57XX DOS For Lattitude D530, DHCP [intelPro] DEVICE=\E1000\protman.dos /I:\E1000 DEVICE=\E1000\dis_pkt.dos DEVICE=\E1000\e1000.dos LASTDRIVE = Z [broadcom] DEVICE=\B57\protman.dos /I:\B57 DEVICE=\B57\dis_pkt.dos DEVICE=\B57\B57.dos LASTDRIVE = Z Bit's in bold are the folders for the two network card types on my network Remember of you have already booted of the config file you wont be able to replace the config file for a new one for some reason you have to create a new bootable usb from the start.
