I'm a tech for my local county school district. I am a 12 month employee, so I work while the schools are closed. Last year my crew and I went from school to school and upgraded all the machines that can be to Win 7. We got most of them done.
However, we are stuck wondering what to do this summer. However, we are the ones left to find something to do. Do any of my fellow school techs have any suggestions of what to do until school's back in?
Unfortunately, wiring maintenance is contracted out and software/images are handled by a different department. My team and I are limited to only end user support and with the end users gone for summer, we are stuck with pondering our ideas.
