Might one of you clever people be able to point me in the right direction with a SIMS report? I want a report that lists my marksheet templates and shows their template columns including aspect names and result sets, so that I can run a quick audit on what’s been set up and what may still be left to do. I can produce a report that shows templates and their related aspects, but when I try to add in the aspects’ related result sets it fails. Lots and lots and lots of blank rows. And I've tried designing a report with the focus on aspects that shows related templates, but can't seem to filter out aspects not attached to any templates. Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

The dashboard can be used by governors and by members of the public to check performance of the school or provider in which they are interested.”

Hi everyone, happy Friday. I've just recently started as a Data Manager, at a secondary school using SIMS, after working in university and college admin for many years. I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it, as all of the terms, acronyms and systems are quite new to me - there seems to be lots to get to get my head round, SIMS, Progress 8 etc etc! I've been looking for a forum such as this for a while, to network with and learn from, and this place looks really good. So here's my Friday afternoon question. If you were new to all this, and just starting out, what would you start with first? Where would you go to get an overview of all the data manager processes we're all involved in? Cheers all, Terry
