Description of Job Role:
The role covers all aspects of managing a multi-site computer network and includes installation, configuration monitoring and maintenance of both hardware and software to ensure all students and staff have access to working IT as and when required
Key Responsibilities:
Providing a high level of technical support to ensure that staff and students at all sites have access to working IT
Diagnosing and resolving IT problems
Pro-actively monitoring servers, switches and backup devices across all sites
Producing ID cards and maintaining records of the same
Creating and managing network and email accounts for staff and students
Ensuring printers are maintained in a working order
Working with AD group policies to ensure network security
Unboxing, configuring, imaging and installing PCs and laptops
Performing hardware and software inventories of all PCs and laptops
Salary Band - £18,000 - £20,000 depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
