Network Manager
36 hours per week, Full Time (Holidays to be taken in school closure periods)
Monday – Thursday: 8.00am – 4.15pm, Friday: 8.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: Grade PO2/PO3, Point: 35 – 41 - £31,296 - £36,669 per annum depending on experience
We are looking for a Network Manager with responsibility for ensuring the school’s ICT Network functions efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the school community. You will promote effective teaching and learning throughout the school by the efficient deployment of ICT resources. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to ICT development on the cross platform ICT environment. The ability to organise and supervise the efficient work of the ICT support team will be essential.
You should:
Have an in depth knowledge of ICT networks, variety of data centre technologies including routing and switching infrastructure, various server operating, backup, email, anti-virus and other server and network management systems.
Have demonstrable knowledge of VMWare.
Have worked in a school or similar environment.
Be enthusiastic, resourceful, with a positive outlook.
Be an excellent communicator with a confident, positive and flexible attitude.
