the title says it all, our place has just switched over to outlook web access for all our mail but none of the existing contacts lists have been transferred over from good old outlook. is it possible to export from outlook into the web access version? Chris

nothing to do with school this one... I'm running Vista home premium on my own laptop (so far no problems) but in Italian. Home premium doesn't support multi-lingual user interface (can't they simplify the language a little bit?) can I install Vista business in English without having to mess around formatting the machine and reinstalling all the drivers or do I need to buy a Vista Ultimate upgrade and then change the interface language? (rather not do this as it costs plenty) If I buy the Ultimate upgrade will it make any difference whether I buy it with English as default language or Italian? Cheers Chris

add an action button with a hyperlink back to the original slide. it should behave as if you are seeing the slide for the first time.

sorry should have said delete the contents of the CSC folder (this amount to 60GB of data!!!!!) Have come up with an interim solution till I can get the support guys in by disabling offline files. This seems to work and I haven't had any reports of loss of functionality... Chris

we have csc enabled on all machines in our network and I'm consistently find problems with hard drives filling up. I can easily delete the CSC folder but the problem returns pretty quickly and it's time consuming... How do I go about disabling CSC and if I do, will it have any effect on the way the network runs? I know this is a numpty question but the tech support we use (forced on us by parent company) are based 200km away and won't send anyone out and rarely if ever answer e-mail or phones.

This http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/6129460.stm#graphic looks kind of cool if they can get it to work. Would there be an issue of corrupted drives caused by having a big EM field next to your laptop?

The temp. in my room has just topped 30°C and my brain's fried but... I want to change the group permissions in Sharepoint to allow users to add document libraries (specifically surveys) but don't want to override the current permissions that are basically contributor level but without 'delete items' rights. Any ideas? (in easy language please, I'm struggling!) Chris

This (http://www.printlogger.com/products/pl3/#1.) is free for anyone running NT and the new version for Win2K and 2003 seems to be about the cheapest I can find at 119€ (+/-£80) for a full site license with unlimited users. Chris

They will also bill according to currency. I got a price in Euro which doesn't seem too bad and believe it or not my boss actually trusts my judgement
-
According to their website they will also invoice businesses based on a thirty day payment period.

Yeah, that's me being stupid and not reading the fine print properly. Story of my life... Looks like I'll go for the papercut anyway as it's a lot cheaper, especially when paying in Euro. Chris

In a school of 90 pupils with 20 staff we have managed to go through 800 euro of toner and 50,000 pages since February, and that's only on 1 printer!!! How do I go about limiting the number of pages that people can print? I'm thinking 50 pages per month for staff and 20 for pupils. Chris

Hmmm... taking media offsite each day may be difficult for us as we have automated backups to a small array of six hard disks each night so that, at most, we only lose a days data. I could ask the other staff members to ensure they've backed up all their own data and removed it I suppose...
