Hey guys, i have a poweredge VTRX that has been giving me problems most of the morning. on the window it says 'CMC Not Responding' i have rebooted - no change. tried to hard restart/shutdown - didnt work I can ping all the other hosts the other 3 hosts on there but cant remote to them. also my hyper-v manager has lost all the machines as if it is a fresh installation. any thoughts, greatfully received. regards, Simon

I have checked all the mailboxes and the PA has full access to the mailboxes and the Send As permissions too. I might open a request with Microsoft anyway. to see what they say :-)

she logs into her emails via https://outlook.office.com/owa/?realm=*domain* and uses her work email to sign in ... mind you i have other mailboxes that i have access and i have no issues ... surely it can't be the fact that she is not an administrator?

Hey Guys! Our heads PA has access to a few mailboxes in our school. Every time she logs on to OWA to access her emails, she gets a message saying that her request can't be completed at this time. she keeps clicking on the 'Retry' option but to no avail. She can access her own mailbox fine but its all the other mailboxes she has to. I have checked on the Admin portal and she definately has full access all the other mailboxes. I have attached a picture for reference any thoughts? Thanks, Simon

Hi, We have ERT installed on our destktops for our SEN students that need testing when they arrive in school - i created an account on friday for a student that started this morning. She has gone to login in the usual format of gender & date of birth before clicking on the name. the computer holds for upto 1 minute then errors and says that 'Please inform your teacher that the test cannot be completed at this time' or 'The pupil has already logged in. Please inform your teacher' then you click on ok then the ERT login box comes up. Just wanted to know if anyone experienced or experiencing a similar issue? TIA :-)

Our school are currently trailing PaperCut MF. I found that the easier is syncing AD in which users are members are in e.g &AllTeachers or &SLT etc. During administration to get users/groups synced, while logged into the interface, click on the Options tab, then sub group: Users/Group Sync - you can pick and choose which groups to have whether it involves staff or students, depending on your set up. there is guide on the papercut website: Synchronizing user and group details I have disabled all personal accounts for ease and transferred all our cost centre budgets for printing on to PaperCut using the Accounts tab - i found it easier adjusting the template account first i.e default balance, any restrictions etc then proceeding onto creating the accounts. hope this helps and let me know if you need any more information. We are having a similar problem in our School. all our macs are integrated with AD. staff and students can log on but unfortunately both are experiencing the Proxy window come up and ask for authentication in either Safari or applications that need the internet - does happen to admins but not as much. probably has something to do with the fact that we are still running R610 servers using Exchange 2003 and ISA Server 2004 but just wanted to check if there was anything else that i might have missed... Hi all, i have noticed this morning on our SIMS server that when i try to load SIMS software on it, I get the following message: Fault Code: 1384-4508-8400 Could not load file or assembly 'AlternativeDatabaseProcesses. Version=7.168.50.0 Culture=neutral. PublicKeyToken=21f532fe36bf9cd6' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) : System.IO.FileLoadException im not sure whether if it has any relevance to the other message on a machine thats used by our attendance officer: Fault Code: 1183-3672-8000 Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'forename'. table '@attendees'. column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated. : System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException I have tried googling to no avail and there is nothing on captia support either. just wondered if anyone has experienced the same or similar issues. Hi, I have a Samsung s4 which unfortunately broke last night. I have saved all my contacts on the SIM card itself. but because the phone screen is cracked. I cant use it. is there any way of retrieving my contacts from the card? thanks in advance

Thanks for the recommendations guy in terms of blocking websites though. would blocking a website/the whole internet apply to just the computer being used at that time or will it recognize that the student/staff is blocked even if they logon somewhere else in the school? also going back to my previous question. anybody heard of or used LanSchool? if so is it any good? Hi, I have been asked to find a classroom management software that is going to easy to use, not just for staff and students but for technicians/administrators as well? I have done a little bit of research and found that the only two that I like the look of is Impero and NetSupport. Please can you give your advice or opinions on these or any other software that does the same? Many thanks
