  1. I manage a lot of Meraki gear for myself and my customers. The full product line of firewalls, switches, wireless and MDM. For what you get I think they are really priced well and even cheaper than many alternatives as long as you try to do a apples to apples comparison. The tricky thing is that Meraki is all or nothing. So besides the hardware you get full, easy to use network management, reporting, firmware updates, 24/7 support, etc. When comparing to other products you need to try to add all these pieces in (if they even offer them all)
  2. You can use Meraki Systems Manager without any Meraki hardware for free: https://meraki.cisco.com/form/systems-manager-signup There is some advantage to using Meraki APs of course, but they are not required.
  3. Haha, didn't notice that.
  4. It's not the case for me. I assume it may be a configuration you made for the profile?
  5. You may need to contact Meraki support and ask them to enable RADIUS accounting on your account. Also, can you can request to allow domain based walled garden support. Then you will see these new options in your dashboard.
  6. Meraki is very different than traditional Cisco, but in a good way Yes it integrates with ISE: https://meraki.cisco.com/blog/2014/05/got-ise/ Sign up and attend a webinar to get a free trial AP with 3 year license to keep or if you are getting serious trial some quantity of gear.
