Hi, I’m Adam, Product Owner for IRIS BioStore. If you could PM with the name of your site, version of IDManager, Windows Version etc I’d be happy to have a look into this to see if this has been reported by anyone else and see if there is anything we can do/suggest. -
Hi David, Whilst some of the print cables emulate a keyboard with a correct id that the printer is expecting the Toshiba ones do not follow this method. They get flashed differently with information specific to Toshiba printers.

Fastrak: disclose allergy upon grab-bag preorder
Fez replied to dgsmith's topic in How do you do....it?
@dgsmith FasTrak has the ability to link allergies to products and students which is used on the till in most sites preventing, warning or removing the items from selection. This is also part of the Grab-bag feature and depending on the warning level set will do one of the following 1 - Show a simple warning 2 - Show the user a Yes/No confirmation 3 - Show the product but not allow it This should stop or put the choice in the users hands but I guess displaying the information on the grab-bag when its collected should be down to the site/caterers to handle. -
Hi Dan, In server manager if you go to the remote desktop services section and under overview you should hve the deployment overview section. If you click on tasks you should have the option for Edit Deployment Properties, once the next window appears you should have a section for Certificates. Once you get to that bit you should be able to add or use an existing certificate for the services. Let me know if you need any more info Adam

Raid or Storage spaces, anybody taken the plunge yet?
Fez replied to Jaan's topic in Windows Server 2016
Hi, I didn't go for SSD cache as the OS is running on SSD's. We mainly use ours for virtual machines which don't get that much use and we store all other files on a NAS so no real need for fast cached storage. You can create the volume using any drives you want and it will handle how it splits it if you have multiple drive types. -

I went with the following on the spec to give you an idea. Intel Xeon E5-2650 V4 2.2GHz 12C/24T X 2 96GB Ram DDR4 2x 400GB SSD 2x 1.2TB 10K RPM SAS 12GB Drives 3x 4TB 7.2K SATA 6GB Drives 12 Bay Chassis We went this line so that we can expand the RAM And storage should we need to in the future. I went with two 10K drives to be the hot storage and then using the others as the cold storage and SS seems to handle this well so far. As we use our for live VM's Im in the process of rebuilding our old ones to be other nodes that we can use for backup and further cold storage. -

We have just installed two of the 730xd's in the same config using two 480gb ssd's for boot in raid 1 and then used Windows Server 2016 Storage Spaces to create a cluster. Only issue we had was it not accepting raid drives but a small powershell tweak and this went away (We couldn't get the control to report non raid even when set as JBOD) So Far its been working perfectly for us and the performance is a huge leap from our old R710's Feel free to drop me a message if you need any help as ive already gone through all of the struggles. -
