Hello,
We will be deploying a new solution for a customer and I want to make sure we have all my ducks in a row. There will be 1 HP 2920 24-port uplinked to 2 HP 2530 switches (1-24 port and 1 48 port). The reason for the 3 switches instead of 2 is for cost reasons. We will be using HP x132 GBIC connectors to connect them. We will be using OM3 rated fiber 10GB patch cords. We will also be uplinking to a Dell Powerconnect 5448 from the HP 2920 via 10GB fiber. Does anyone see any issues with this setup? Is it possible to stack them? Can anyone reccomend the correct GBIC for the Dell switch? Thanks so much.
I just got word from the customer that he has a DELL 5C75N 10GB cable. Does anyone know if this is compatible with the HP 2920?
