  1. The Stephen Perse Foundation is an ambitious, innovative, forward thinking independent day school based in Cambridge for pupils aged 3 -18. The following exciting opportunity has arisen within the Foundation - Network & Systems Administrator The Network & Systems Administrator is responsible for a wide range of technical duties associated with the core infrastructure, computer network and client services. The Network & Systems Administrator will work primarily in connection with existing installations but support in the successful scope, implementation and operations of all new network developments, projects and work packages. The role exists to assist the IT Services team and 3rd party contractors to deliver an effective, fit for purpose IT service to all end users. £28,000-£35,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) 37.5 hours per week during the hours of 7am - 9pm. Start and finish times to be mutually agreed pending Foundation needs. Occasional out of hours work will be required to support network / infrastructure upgrades and maintenance. The following exciting opportunity has arisen within the Foundation - IT Suport Technician – Stephen Perse Foundation - Cambridge The IT Support Officer is responsible for responding to IT support requests in accordance with the Helpdesk procedures and priorities. The role exists to assist the IT Services team to deliver an effective, fit for purpose IT service to all end users/ ‘customers’ in accordance with the agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements. Salary will be at the rate of £16,000 - £22,000, depending upon qualifications, skills and experience offered. The role is a full time position (52 weeks per year) working 37.5 hours per week. The Foundation Over the last three years the Foundation has made a significant investment in the use of mobile technology; with 1:1 Apple iPad access to all Senior School and Sixth Form students. Technology is seen to be a key teaching and learning tool which supports and underpins the vision across the Foundation. The IT Services Department currently provides support to approximately 200 staff and 900 student users accessing approximately 1000 user devices. Role Description The IT Support Officer is responsible for responding to IT support requests in accordance with the Helpdesk procedures and priorities. Role Description The role exists to efficiently manage the Foundation’s IT services and systems in order to successfully meet the needs of the Foundation and its vision for teaching and learning. The successful candidate must work collaboratively with all key stakeholders to understand their technology requirements; whilst ensuring all IT services and systems operate effectively through managing, supporting and performance managing the IT services staff, day-to-day IT operations and IT infrastructure and network. The candidate will be responsible and accountable for developing, managing and implementing longer term wider IT services projects.
