Just read Calapso's and Iain Faulkner's posts.
Similar story here. Was very happy with Ergo hardware and best of all the support. Before I could phone and get straight to an engineer to diagnose problems. Quite often after diagnose, advance ship of parts could be arranged for me to fix as an option or engineer on-site. This was very good and flexible and worked well for us. This is until the change and now it is awful. Really p***ed with the 0844 support line as-well as I got told off by our Business manager for racking up a bill (money is tight and we are counting our pennies). Customer Service is a joy if you enjoy being messed about and like banging your head against the wall. Have had to get the caretaker to repair the dents on the wall
When talking to Customer Service, they do not have the ability to look up customer details via site postcode nor serial numbers. Get this.... they then asked me to email all the details and someone would get back within 48 hours.
Not impressed with the engineers sent to fix faults. Product knowledge questionable. Got East Europeans who appear to be subcontracted and did not seem to know which company they were actually carrying out the work for.
Shame really.looks like Ergo is just a sales & marketing office now. End of a relationship as we will be looking elsewhere for our hardware now.
Fellow techies that I keep in touch with at other nearby schools are also worried as they have investment in Ergo kit.
