We're looking for an experienced ICT Technician with excellent customer support skills to work for Lancashire County Council in our Education Digital Services team. This post is on the Implementation team - installing new hardware out at sites all across the county, and assisting with large enterprise scale projects. It's a hybrid blend of on-site, remote and office based working with a productive team with high expectations. You could be installing a server one day, a stack of Ipads the next, and assisting with bringing new software solutions online the day after. No two days are the same, there are always learning opportunities and the scope of work is pretty wide. You'll have a few years of ICT support under your belt, particularly in Windows 10/11 delivery, but it'll be helpful if you have some Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and iOS knowledge as well. You'll definitely be a fast learner, have your own car and have a track record of great customer services to customers with high expectations. The post holder will provide professional technical expertise to schools across Lancashire. They will be responsible for implementing ICT infrastructure and/or applications/services specifically relating to the education sector.
