We are seeking to appoint an experienced Network and Resources Manager to lead and develop the school’s already successful vision for technology. Churston was one of the first schools in the UK to deploy Google Apps for Education. This year we have had a successful one to one Chromebook trial and now have the opportunity to extend use into two further year groups. As an experienced network professional, you will have a passion for delivering best practice technological solutions. We are looking for an experienced ICT Technician to help us sustain our digital edge and help develop it further in the future. You will be helping to support a network with several hundred PCs/laptops and a range of mobile devices including Chromebooks, iPads, Android Devices and Projection / Interactive Whiteboards. Our year 10 students have 1:1 Chromebooks and in September, this expands to years 10,11 and 12. The post demands good interpersonal skills and empathy to provide a customer focused solutions to a wide range of users; students, teaching staff, teaching assistants and general support staff to ensure they are confident users.
