Just to confirm what Moggy and DMcCoy have said. Symantec Backup Exec using a carousel Quantum Superloader will lock device after performing backups. In SBE, Devices Tab, under the server find the Quantum device, Right Click and select UNLOCK. Now you should be able to eject tapes.
