Hi Peeps
I'm an ICT Technician in a local school, that has just had a complete over haul of our network (Changing from Citrix to Microsoft) All our PC are running 64bit Windows 7 with 64bit MS Office 2013.
Today our finance dept have wanted to email payslips as they have done EVERY month to staff, but SAGE tell me that Sage 50 Payroll doesn't support Office 64bit only 32 bit versions???? Seriously... It has worked absolutely fine in the past.
So my next thought was to setup the email payslips to go direct (Bypassing office) I entered all our email settings into the wizard only to be told that I had entered an invalid email address, which I hadn't - the same person I spoke to about the above issue at Sage - Said it was because their software only supports two . (Dots) in an email address - I find this very hard to believe.
Has anyone else had this problem??? Any advice I would be most grateful as I'd like to get this working again.
Thanks in advance
Hayley
