  1. Hi Everyone, wondered if someone could cast their eyes over a problem i'm having with thinstation PXE. I'm getting access violation PXE error messages as below; Tftpd32 Message: Error: EACCESS. Ext error the directory name is invalid Client PXE error message: PXE-T02: Access Violation PXE-E3C: TFTPD Error - Access violation I have Tftpd32 running on the actual dhcp server, and it seems to be looking at the correct bootfile, just access to the base directory/bootfile seem to be having a problem? Im new to thinstation so apologies if im missing anything obvious, I haven't got Tftpd32 running as a service as yet, would this cause problems? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Leon
  2. Read recently that January 2009 had been a new XP shipping expiry date, although MS did say only smaller hardware suppliers would ship XP after 30 June... but I could be wrong.
  3. Yep me too.
  4. Hi Axel, thanks for that, a trial would be ideal. Also any info with regard education pricing as mentioned in the thread? (if available). I will contact you shortly to sort out details ([email protected] i presume) many thanks Leon
  5. Hi everyone, new to the site so apologies for hijacking the forum. I have been looking at a way to introduce more thin client units throughout the school and have been using an older Wyse terminal a test (3125 box) which works well, but only a few specifc flash drives seem to work on. I know a lot of people would prefer to limit flash drive access but were staff are concerned they still need to accesws them. So do Axel boxes support usb flash drives, i read it doesn't out the box but does it when configured to do so, do they have any limitations other than that. By the way i had never heard of Axel units before but look good at first glance (have used wyse terminals in past but not over the moon with wyse pricing). again apologies for hijacking the forum. Thanks Leon
