Unfortunately this is one of those questions that will get a large amount of responses all saying different things because people work with different things. I work with Meraki so I know how it works and I can say it's good and I'll recommend it, but everyone equally may use something else like Ruckus etc. Your best bet is to get in contact with the companies or resellers and get some more information about each brand, perhaps ask for a demo (some have web portals) or demo units.

We've got a dedicated POE switch for about 8 of our Meraki APs, and then we've got a few injectors for a few more APs - we're planning on getting another 8 or so more Meraki APs though so we'll probably get a new POE switch rather than more injectors just because it's easier to manage.

I've got two batteries for my main AEG, both LiPo - they're more expensive and may not have as much capacity as other batteries but they don't seem to 'lose their charge' which a few of my old bog-standard ones did. I've got two just for worst-case scenario, but I've never actually needed to swap them out during a game - a single 1300mAh 11v LiPo keeps my gun going all game somehow. The things to take into account are voltage and mAh (milliamp hours); the higher the voltage, the faster the AEG will fire (generally). The higher the milliamp hours, the more overall 'charge' the battery has. Ideally you want the mAh as high as possible.

I don't think I've ever heard some of the terms on Impero's lists be used before, and I've been to some dodgy places (not just schools!) - I suppose a huge list is better than a small one, though.

Even if it's for their coursework, I don't think downloading songs (unless it's royalty free) is allowed.. Regardless of how many MP3s are being downloaded!

Tbh I don't think CCP have actually shed any light on it though don't take my word for it - I think there's a (large) set amount of wormhole 'spaces', but because wormholes are random there may be some that people have never even ventured into yet. In my case, I went through a wormhole into wpace that was occupied, through a wormhole to more occupied wspace, through a wormhole into completely unoccupied wspace.. All sounds more confusing than it actually is. Whether or not CCP actively add more 'empty' wspace is a mystery to me.

People 'outside the field' won't want to hear about DDoS attacks or encryption IMO. They will want to hear about things that are relevant to them every day, as above; WiFi, personal information on the web (could link into usernames, 'doxxing' etc), maybe look at mobile security? app permissions etc.

Could do, more than likely just going to sell the information on the EVE forums though. I'll always find another one I've got a lot of stuff to transport from high sec and the entrances/exits will only last a maximum of 24 hours so it'd be pointless to wait

It was all going so well.. Found C2 wspace, completely unoccupied, plenty of planets for PI! (the type of wspace that people pay 500 million just to know the routes of!). Went to deploy the POS.. "Your corporation must be at least 7 days old in order to anchor." I forgot about that. Damn.

The trailer made me a very happy person.

UNITAS and the entire BRAVE collective have official doctrines for ships however you don't really need to follow them. If you want more info on BRAVE then look at their wiki. Basically, use clones to jump either down to null sec or up to high sec. It's not a big risk at all considering they usually pay for your tackler.

You'll be fine! the idea is that you'll be able to fleet up and get the hang of techniques, terminology etc. You can always leave once you get bored!

As Garacesh said, you should join a big PVP alliance. Confident fresh meat like yourself is needed to fuel the cogs of war. UNITAS is a good BRAVE corp.

When I first started someone gave me a frozen corpse of someone they'd killed, funny how things change over time.. But srsly I am going to start a corp tonight or tomorrow, 0% tax etc but as it'll be small there's always a big chance of a wardec (except my friend and I will be in a wormhole 90% of the time which lowers the chances).

Finally transported all my different POS structures and fuel etc to the right place, just waiting for the right time now. Time to trade PLEX! also, congrats! I'm not sure how many posts I have because 90% of them are spam.

Not as 'bad' as people are making it out to be, gameplay on the other hand is kinda meh. But then it's not really my kind of game.

Indeed! in my case, when I'm doing wormhole combat sites I could earn anywhere between 5-20 million from the site itself but usually at least that much if not more from my army of salvage drones afterwards.

A reliable source tells me that they were able to reserve W10 even on an illegitimate copy. On another note, I've 'reserved' but I don't think I'll upgrade when they actually release.. it's still incredibly buggy on my laptop.
