  7. We are advertising for someone to run the local network at Irlam and Cadishead College. We are a small trust with the schools being linked via an MPLS over the next few months. Over the summer we will be migrating Irlam away from a CC4 to trust wide Domain. Details can be found here Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
  8. It doesn't have a finance module like FMS. The payment system is so parents can pay for items.
  9. We are currently migrating 4 schools from SIMS to Arbor. two are going live after Christmas and two at the Feb 1/2 term. I will be happy to talk to you in a few weeks about how the first two went. My general impressions pre migration are positive.
  10. Has anyone had any experience with BoardMaker V6. We are helping a school move from a CC4 network and they use BoardMaker heavily. I am having an issue where every user that logs on has to register the software. I am told by the software makers that this is not normal behaviour but they don't seem that willing to offer any sort of viable solution. Any ideas?
  11. No just started afresh - new local domain name, all servers 2012R2, all users had new user accounts so robocopied their home drives and shared areas, etc. No trusts between new and old systems.
  12. No, we built a new infrastructure and transferred the data, we decided just to bin CC4 altogether. The biggest job was re-imaging all the clients.
  13. We built a whole new infrastructure and transferred the data but before we did this RM said it was possible to add a new DC without CC4 and the demote the CC4 DCs. https://www.rm.com/support/technicalarticle.asp?cref=tec1713624
  14. I had the same issue because sysprep had not been run on all the servers. I ran the switch manually in a batch file and it seemed to resolve the issue. It still took about a day for servers to appear in WSUS.
  15. When they were deployed from the template did you run the customization to generate a new SID Resolving the duplicate SUSClientID issue, or “Why don’t all my clients show up in the WSUS console?” - The Official WSUS/Software Update Support Team Blog - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
