Hi everyone - bit of a weird one. I've looked online and basically it's not helping what seems to be the only way of fixing this. Getting the "The User Profile Service failed the sign in. User profile cannot be loaded" upon trying to login. However this is happening with ALL accounts (apart from when I log in locally VIA administrator). Even accounts which haven't logged into the desktop before are getting this message so pretty confused. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Nick

Afternoon, I have not set much here, however the staff have a SharedDesktop folder in which is all of their default desktops (obviously). To navigate to this I goto \\servername\SharedDesktop$ However when I got just \\Servername\ I cannot see the SharedDesktop$ Folder - as I need to remove write permission. Could anyone be of help? Morning everyone, This is a strange one - One user is having some difficulty logging on, whereas others (In the same OU etc, even tried same desktop) are logging in quickly. With the user, it hangs on Applying Folder Redirection Policy for about a minute or more, whereas everyone elses hangs for maybe a second or two max. We are running windows server 2012. Thanks, Nick

Hi everyone, I have been asked to put a DVD on the server so everyone can access it (The Big 13). It autoplays fine, however once I venture into the files there are just a load of VOB, IFO and BUP files there. I was wondering if there was a way to get this onto the server? Thanks, Nick

Afternoon all, I am trying to unblock the favourites bar VIA group policy (IE) - Now I managed to enable the bar. However now when they click the "add this site to favorites" - It comes up with the message "Restrictions - The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions etc..." I cannot find the bit where I can allow this? Thanks Nick

I never found a fix, however swapping schools which doesn't have old RM sh*te seemed to work well

Good Afternoon, Before I explain the problem, I have a full admin account and I do not get this error when logging in, however when a member of staff logs in and tries to use any features of MS Office they get this error message; connecting to proxy server omextemplates.content.office.net Enter your credentials Does anyone have any idea into how to remove this? Hello everyone, I visit this school every Friday, and the last two weeks I have fixed the problem, to have it come back after a couple of days which is baffling me. A teacher cannot open Office files on her laptop for some reason, "Word could not create the work file. Check the temp environment variable." The past 2 times I have deleted the TEMP data and it has worked fine, however it keeps coming back and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea why? Thanks, Nick

Hi guys, Just started supporting a large Primary school. They have over 90 iPads, then countless laptops etc around the school to. They have we just had some new iPads and im struggling to get them on the wireless, the wireless is up and running fine on all machines, however with these new iPads I got about 5 online before they just stopped having it, now some staff iPads are connecting, but not getting any internet. Is there something I can do on the server to enable more devices of some sort? Thanks, Nick

Edit: Tried another member of staff, they couldn't log in either. They can log into other computers fine.

Hi, At a Primary the head can't login. Whenever she tries to login it freezes on the loading circle, screen goes black as if it's about to load the desktop then it comes back with "logging off.." and goes back to the main login screen. I tried logging in as the admin account and I got in fine. Any ideas? Cheers,
