I can, but with a couple hundred different printers, with all different models and ages, it can be a bit painful to change the cost of black ink for all of our hp laserjet pro 400's. I'm just wondering if we have a way to just change it once. and be done.

The purpose is just to inform the user of the costs of B&W vs Color.

I already have the costs setup in the admin console. I want a script that will retrieve the costs such as inputs.jobs.cost or inputs.job.calculateCostForPrinter(Printer2), just for grayscale

I can find the cost to print on other printers, just not a cost for grayscale on the current printer or the cost for grayscale on another printer.

Say it costs us $.12 for a color page and $.05 for a grayscale page on one printer, and $.10 for a color page and $.01 for a grayscale page on a printer that is right next to it. How would I find the costs based on our inputs from the admin console on papercut vs hardcoding the costs in the script itself?

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this, but I'm currently looking for a script variable or group of commands that will direct me to displaying the cost to print something in grayscale without converting the entire document to grayscale. My current setup consists of everything autopopulated. It shows Current cost choose: current printer color cost cheapest printer color cost current printer grayscale cost cheapest printer grayscale cost Right now, I'm inputting the costs manually, but I'm looking for a way for the script to see the cost of printing grayscale based on costs on our papercut server. Thanks in advance for your help.
