Try using a software called Displayfusion, I use it for my triple screen setup. not sure if it will work in games though.

i have reconciled the snapshot however the snapshot is a week old. which means a lot of work is not there. i do have differential backups of all days but they dont seem to want to restore everything keeps skipping alot of files.

It says theres on one snapshot which was taken by the backup server. do you know if there is a way to increase the size of the lun on a md3000i?

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! Our VM that holds all the user areas seems to have gone down. it keeps coming up with an error message saying data store out of disk space. Lastweek i had a problem that the diskspace was getting low so i added another disk drive from a separate LUN in the VM properties and then converted it to a dynamic disk so the disk space would be expanded. this did the trick and started to show the new disk size I have tried restoring from a snapshot but I still get the same error message. I have tried restoring the the vm from backup exec but that keeps hanging on pre-processing. Any one feel that they can help please feel free to call me on 01772 867218 or reply on this forum. I am trying to setup notifications from various programs to send me email alerts, but dont seem to be having any luck. any help will be really appreciated. We have ISA Server 2006 as a Firewall between External Network (LEA Router) and Internal Network (Curric Network). I can Telnet the LEA hosted Mail server from the ISA Server itself but cant seem to access it from our Internal Network I have opened up all ports on a our ISA server but still dont seem to be having any luck. Has anyone else come accross this problem or might be able to point me in the right direction to get it solved.

what if i demote the server and rename it to something else then promote it again, do think that could cure this? i might give that a go first if that fails then it will have to be a fresh install.

i removed the server 3 in active directory just by right clicking the server and pressing delete. i thought that this should be sufficient. whats the best way on checking where the Fsmo role are?

Ihave a little problem similar to above. One of our domain controllers wouldnt boot in to windows after christmas so i quickly reinstalled it and recreated all the shares. I gave the server the same name as it was before and executed dcpromo. thios all seemed to work fine until now. I cant seem to create any users in active directory on that server anymore I am also having problems replication problems on that server now Has anyone had any similar problems like this and know any work arounds. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

when deploying the image press shift and f10. type in diskpart, type in list select required disk remove all partitions hidden ones tend to cause problems specially with dell pc's. try deploying now hope this helps

I rebooted the server, created a capture and deploy image again and add vista nic drivers to the boot images using imagex and it decides to work now. I bet rebooting the server cured the problem. well anyway.. problem sorted thanks for every ones help.

The WDS Server is in Native Mode. I'll have to look into capturing and deploying the image with imagex.

I was wondering if anyone has managed to get WDS to deploy images onto dell vostro laptops. i have tried injecting drivers on both the boot image and the laptop image but have not had much luck i have got 32 laptops to image so any help would be really appreciated.

AHA! well i disabled SATA mode in BIOS and that seems to let me install windows XP.

We have just got some new HPnx7300 laptops that have a recovery partition on them. i have created an image using riprep which i want to deploy to these new latops, however i'm having a few difficulties doing this. i reallly dont want to go through all the machines recreating all the partitions, as this is what i think i'm gonna have to do. Are there any easier ways to do this?? Anyone had any similar problems?

Thanks alot for the replys. in the end i just disconnected the server and started off the ping -t command, then started unpluggin the switches one by one followed port by port and found out it was a Staff Laptop. I will try the other solutions as well just so that if does happen again i wont be running round like a lunatic from one block to another in the feaar that the laptop does not get disconnected before i get there, because that nearly did happen.

I am having a problem which is driving me crazy. there is someone at the school here who has a static IP assigned to their device which is conflicting with our server. Is there any easy way of finding out where this device is. or any way of stopping this from happening. i have posted a message in staff briefing about this. and tried going round the whole school trying to find out who it is but have not had any luck as yet. Someone Help Me Please...

has any one come accross the RMone all in one machine. i know its RM which can very easily put people off. but these seem really good, a bit pricey but seem nice. i have a got a demo machine here and i'm quite impressed with the build quality.

i came accross a problem today, where pupils could not read their emails in the practice test. this was due to the regional settings being set to english US rather than UK. is there any way of changing these settings remotely, ie.. through a script or somthing?? as there are a number of machines that might still have the US settings on.

i have installed skype on a teacher machine today, but does not seem to be working with isa in place. does any one know how to get skype working with ISA?

oh yes! i have a great solution for this problem. 1. login as a test pupil then logout 2. login as admin and copy the test pupil profile to default user profile 3. copy the the new default profile on to a share on the server 4. create a script to xcopy the default profile on server to all workstations at logon 5. now when the little sods pull the cable out it will still have all the restrictions in place from the default user profile. so they cant do any thing different. av' some of that u little sods!! lol

Bob: i have been through my gpo seetings and the 'wait for network' does seem to be enabled however it still logs them on with local admin rights. This little trick seems to be going round the school like wild fire now i have just had a whole class logged on like that?

I have got a group of kids who have started to pull the rj45 cable out, as soon as their password has been authenticated on the windows logon screen. this stops any gpo's and scripts from running, allowing them local admin rights to the workstations. has anyone had any similar problems?? what can i do to stop them from doing this?? i'm sure i have read something regarding this here but i cant find it anywhere. thanks in advance.
