We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to provide a stable and relevant ICT provision for the school. The Network Manager will report to the Headteacher as head of the ICT Network team. St Peter's is a successful, oversubscribed and thriving school which was rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in February 2013. We have 900 students in years 7 - 11 and a total of 220 in the sixth form. The post holder will have ICT and management skills along with technical expertise to develop, maintain and enhance the support infrastructure across the School, to promote effective teaching and learning. We are looking forsomeone with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude who will be proactive in anticipating problems. This is a full timerole throughout the year, however as the hours during term time may exceed 36 aweek there will be scope to take time off in lieu over the holiday periods in addition to the usual holiday entitlement. You will need a good general level of education with GCSE qualifications in English and Maths. A relevant industry professional qualification would be an advantage.
