  1. Just avoid Starboards (Hitachi) We've had some hassle with these, and found installation problems like spliced power cables, spliced VGA Cables, falling out of sync etc. And the software is bloated, and often just doesn't work.. for no real reason. things. Our Promethean ones haven't been too bad.
  2. Yup, in the packaged version of TightVNC from the MST website.
  3. I'm using the MSI that comes from the MST site, and I don't think there's an option to do that
  4. In the general options I've got it set not to change the wallpaper, is there a setting I need to change on the VNC side of things?
  5. Hi We've just started to roll out Lanview3 to a few client machines with the VNC MSI from the MST website, it's all looking great. But... When I preview, or when I remote into a machine, it causes the desktop background to change. Is there a cause for this?, can I rectify?
  6. Any chance you can PM me it too We've been using a fresh install of tightVNC and setting our own password, but a pre-packaged msi with its own password in there is a lot easier for roll out
  7. Hi Currently we're using Ranger Remote control to live monitor our network, but we're looking into alternative software. Presently, we're using Ranger to watch/control machines, and to shut down at the end of the day... The obvious alternative so far is the excellent Lanview together with slideshow, we hope! (we're yet to try slideshow), our only concern being the size of our network. At present we've got 150 Ranger licenses, we're getting quote from NSS and Ranger for a 500 license deal, although long term we may be looking at closer to 800. We've got a vast network and we're not sure how Lanview/Slideshow will cope on such a large scale. Anyone used LV/SS on this sort of size?, any issues?
