If you are using classic asp take a look at this page : www.Dimac.NET : Tools and solutions for web-developers ( you'd need the pro version for $75 = £30 approx) You can pop enable the exchange mailbox, then use the component to read the emails - then update your SQL database all within your ASP application.

Thanks for the quick response. Was thinking similar thoughts. I could see it being used by a "concerned" parent but not really enforceable on a school campus!
